A professional engineer highly experienced in healthcare software development with over 26 years’ work in software design, data modelling, database design, security, and patient privacy, focused on disease surveillance and prevention. Directed and managed software development projects to create large-scale healthcare applications in a wide network environment for the National Cancer Institute of the U.S., Ontario Health, Cancer Care Manitoba, Eastern Health (Newfoundland), Saskatchewan, and others. Mr. Golabek was responsible for all engineering activities at AIM, ensuring that software development was carried out with the highest degree of quality and professionalism, incorporating sound engineering principles, clear documentation, and best practices. Wrote coding and design guidelines and implemented a software development pipeline and CRM system for customer support. Mr. Golabek was a process-oriented manager, overseeing the work of three groups: the applications development group, the A.I. and research and development group, and the implementation and support group. He also served as AIM’s Chief Privacy Officer. Mr. Golabek was also responsible for drafting software licenses, legal agreements, employment contracts, negotiating and closing business deals, developing, and implementing company policies and procedures, preparing marketing copy, delivering customer presentations, and presenting the company’s values and vision at industry conferences and trade shows.

Mr. Golabek was responsible for the conceptualization, design, architecture, and development of virtually all of AIM’s software products, including laboratory information systems, clinical management systems, systems for population-based disease surveillance, A.I. technology, and system integration tools.

CoroDyne provided software development and IT consulting services to the commercial real-estate sector and developed software applications for financial analysis and brokerage management. CoroDyne also constructed a large-scale commercial property database and tax analysis system for a leading accounting firm. During this time, Mr. Golabek also completed courses from CCIM in Financial Analysis, Market Analysis, and Contract Negotiations.

Mr. Golabek worked on the development and FAA certification of the Dash-8 series of passenger aircraft and was instrumental in the design and development of in-house computer software for near real-time flight test data review and analysis.
